A £10 per person non-refundable deposit is required to make your reservation. We understand that final numbers might change and ask that these are confirmed to us a minimum of 10 days prior.

Should party size fall beneath this final, confirmed number the deposit of £10 per person not attending will be forfeited. Notification of non-attendance prior to this date will result in the deposit being credited to your final bill.

Menu Choices:

All menu choices will be required a minimum of 10 days prior. Once menu choices have been received it is not possible to alter selection.

Please complete the accompanying meal ordering form. We recommend that a copy is kept by yourself for reference on the day as confusion often arises with guests forgetting what they have ordered.

In the past some parties have chosen to produce name cards with the guest’s selection on them. This has proved very successful in reducing confusion.

Christmas is an exceptionally busy time for the restaurant and it is unlikely that we will be able to correct any mistakes arising from guests taking the wrong meals.

Please note that guests, from whom menu choices have been received, failing to attend on the day will forfeit the full cost of the meal including service charge.

Final Payment

It is kindly requested that final payment of all meals including the 10% service charge is received 10 days prior. Any drinks bill can be settled on the night by cash, credit card or company cheque (by prior arrangement).

Drinks

Please indicate whether you would like your bar bill to be open, capped or cash.

‘Open’ – all drinks are to be added to the bill

‘Capped’ – a pre-determined limit will be set and the party organizer informed when that limit is reached.

‘Cash’ – All drinks are to be paid for by the guests on the night. Please note that all cash purchases will have to be made by the guests at the bar.

Wines

If you would like to offer your guests wine with your meal we ask that a pre-order is made. This is to ensure that we have sufficient wine in stock and that any white wine is properly chilled. Exact numbers are not required just the wine choices.

Our complete wine list is available at our web-site www.stockrestaurant.co.uk. However, we recommend selecting from our Christmas Wine list enclosed. These are quality wines that we are able to sell at house wine prices as they are purchased in bulk for the festive period. The discount we receive is passed on.

Departure

We ask that all lunchtime parties vacate the dining-room by 5.30pm. This is to give us sufficient time to prepare the dining-room for the evening. Guests are welcome to continue drinking at the bar until 6pm.

In the evening, the bar will be closed at 1.00am.

Disco

There will be a live disco every Tuesday-Friday night throughout December. This will begin once the last main courses have been served, usually between 9.30pm-10.00pm.

Disco will finish at 1.00pm.
